Sam Mikell posted a 3-for-3 effort with a double and three RBIs, Jed Morris picked up two hits and four RBIs and Erik Bergkvist drove in three runs on a 1-for-2 day at the plate for 1-1 CVU. Missisquoi 7, Spaulding 5 (5): Winning pitcher Elijah Eaton helped his cause with a three-run double in the fourth inning and Missisquoi improved to 2-0 at visiting Spaulding's expense.
MVU's Josh Laroche added three singles and Levi Russin chipped in with two hits in the weather-shortened game. Spaulding's Dana Smith had two hits including a three-run double.
