2014 Vermont Metro Baseball League All-Metro Teams and Awards

The Vermont Metro Baseball League is proud to announce the nominees for the 2014 All-Metro Team and All-Metro Awards. At the conclusion of each season, players and coaches are chosen by opposing coaches based on their performance, position, and statistics throughout the regular season. Their performances throughout the playoffs have no influence on their nominations.

 During a meeting that took place on Sunday, June 8th, 2014, coaches from each school within the Vermont Metro Baseball League met and chose seven (7) individuals for season awards, sixteen (16) individuals for the first All-Metro team, thirteen (13) individuals for the second All-Metro team, and thirty (30) individuals for honorable mention.

The following are the nominees for the 2014 Vermont Metro Baseball League season awards;

Coach of the Year
Geoff Murray (BFA-St. Albans)

Player of the Year
Ryan Connor (BFA-St. Albans)

Metro RBIs Leader
Rayne Supple – 22 RBI’s (Champlain Valley)

Metro Home Runs Leader
Nick Berno – 3 HR’s (BFA-St. Albans)
Andrew Graciano – 3 HR’s (St. Johnsbury)

Metro Strikeouts Leader
Ryan Connor – 53 K’s (BFA-St. Albans)

Metro Stolen Bases Leader
Deagan Poland – 23 SB’s (Champlain Valley)
