Dear Fans of the Vermont Metro Baseball League,
I am writing to you today because I wanted to let you that as the new baseball season is around the corner, some of us associated with the league though it would be good to get a fresh start. By doing that, a NEW website for the Vermont Metro Baseball League was created. My name is Sam Fontaine, and I am the creator of the new site, as well as the creator of the CVU Baseball website. I worked Coach Tim Albertson last spring with CVU and will be working with him again. I have a true passion for baseball, and volunteered to create this website. Today, I wanted to let you know about some of the features of the website. Web Address: www.VTMetroBaseball.weebly.com Twitter – Vermont Metro Baseball League is now on Twitter! It was created to help communicate any scores, news, cancellations, etc. Please follow it at @VTMetroBaseball. Standings – There will be updated league standings daily. This will be available on the website, under the “Standings” tab. News – Any league news will be posted on the league blog. The posts will show up on the blog, front page, and on Twitter. After each game, there will be a game “write-up” available to fans to view. Schedules – In a few weeks there will be a Master Schedule available for fans to download, and print, so that they can use it at their convenience. There will also be schedules for individual teams available for fans to download, and print as well. Pictures – The league would like to thank Shane Bufano, who owns and runs Shane Bufano Photography, who has generously volunteered to donate any photos from the games this season to put on the site. Coach’s Corner – This is a page for the Coaches and Athletics Directors ONLY. It is a password protected page. WHATS IN IT FOR YOU – As a follower of the Vermont Metro Baseball League, you are vital to the success of the student-athletes, coaches, school teams, and the league overall, no matter, if you are a member of the media, a parent, a player or a coach. This website and features are available for your convenience! Finally, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact me. I would appreciate any feedback that you can give me. Thank you for reading this letter, and hope you enjoy the website. Sincerely, Sam Fontaine Email: [email protected] Phone: (802)-324-5067
